Ghost Recon: Phantoms is an arena-based free-to-play third-person online shooter published and developed by Ubisoft. The game is available from Steam, with two different clients: one for the EU and one for the American regions. Both require different registrations to play; they are not connected to each other in any way.
This is the ultimate game for team-players, because it places heavy emphasis on collaborative play. With three distinct classes - Assault, Recon and Support - everyone who is a team-player can find his own way of helping his team be victorious. The game features a very robust loadout system with lots of different gadgets, armors and helmet skins to choose from. It also has a very robust cover system, which must be utilized properly to flank and outsmart your enemies. This game is not like Battlefield or Call of Duty where you run and gun. Movement is much more free-form than other similar games: you can climb, crouch, slide and prone crawl in addition to the usual crouching.
It also has a very detailed clan system where you are able to create a clan, invite your friends and check out each other's statistics. Graphics are average, sounds are quite good, and they play an important role in determining enemy movement, so stealth and a good headset are recommended.
