  • Kings and Legends is a Collectible Card Game mixed with Side-scrolling and strategy elements. It is developed and published by Just A Game, a German browser-based development studio. The art style of the game is similar to Japanese anime.

The game starts with choosing your gender and your class a bit later, but these don't really have huge effects on the gameplay, as this is not a full MMO with an open world. Instead, you have a small town to manage, although your options are mostly limited to construction of certain buildings. These give you new cards, open op some features such as Alchemy and Blacksmithing, grant upgrades to your hero and give several other bonuses in battles.

The battles themselves feature the summoning of troops and responding with appropriate counters to the enemy's summons. This is a deep strategical part of the game, which you have to think about even before the battle starts, as you have to assemble a deck from your cards. The deck also gives a random element to the game, as your deck is shuffled before the battle and you have to manage with the few cards in your hand at all times.

The game also has PvP mode so you can fight with other players and some boss fights to take on alone or in co-op.

Kings and Legends is a fairly interesting mixture of strategy, collecting card games and RPGs. If you like some or any of these, it certainly is worth having a look at.
